“After college, I found myself on the staff of a very small, but scrappy organization. I wore a lot of hats, rolled up my sleeves to do a lot of dirty work, and got to talk about our mission to a lot of important people. I became passionate about the powerful good nonprofits can do in their communities, particularly when they have active and engaged volunteers, when they can help their donors feel connected to the mission, and when their staff feels valued and esteemed.
I’m particularly passionate about organizations that support women and mothers and orgs supporting military families. “
“I’m married to Ryan and we have two daughters and one very sweet, old Chocolate lab. When I’m not working, you might find me drinking my husband’s homebrewed beer, analyzing all my friends and family using personality inventories, or waiting for the paleta cart on the front steps of my childhood home, trying to convince my kids that a rice milk paleta is where it’s at.”
“I’ve worked for nonprofits whose staff are small but mighty and I know just how valuable it can be to have a partner who will listen well to an organization’s unique concerns and needs. Seeing the way Loving Venti treats the nonprofits they serve as partners, rather than clients, demonstrates their commitment to serving well. Getting to partner with nonprofits in this way is a rising tide that raises all ships!”
